In truth, pursuing couple's therapy as soon as day 1 is not a bad idea. Beginning couple's counseling and therapy services at the beginning of your relationship can help to prevent small issues from turning into large issues.
A few signs that you and your partner should pursue couple's therapy are:
- Lack of communication.
- Feelings of boredom or numbness towards your relationship.
- Unhealthy conflict.
- Having the same fight over and over again without any resolution.
- Sexual dysfunctions.
Therapy can be used as a last resort option, however, I recommend using it as a preventative measure.
A few benefits related to couple's therapy are resolved conflicts, better communication, healthy sexual relationships, and more. The benefits are unending and any couple can benefit from a couple's therapy session.
