In truth, pursuing therapy at any stage of life is not a bad idea. If you struggle with anxiety, depression, a history of substance abuse, stress, mental health issues, and more, it is a good idea to consistently pursue therapy and counseling. If you recently endured hardship, abuse, or any other traumatic situation, I highly recommend that you seek therapy.
Therapy can be used as a last resort option, however, I recommend using it as a preventative measure.
A few benefits related to therapy are better communication, empowerment, a healthier lifestyle, improved mindset, and more. The benefits of therapy are unending and any individual can benefit from a therapy session.
